Paper Craft Festival

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since I've blogged, I have been busy creating cards but I just haven't had the time to share them unfortunately. Why do you ask? well that's because I was asked by Dekoda Marketing to be the Workshop Coordinator for the Paper Craft Festival this November. It's a new challenge for me but I'm loving the experience of being on the other end of paper Craft education!!
I think I have organised a class to suit just about anyone!!

I'm very trilled to have these teachers coming to the show, I know you will walk away from any one of these classes feeling fulfilled and energised!!

Two cards to share

Hi everyone, here are two cards I would like to share.
The first one was for my Mother-in-law for Mothers day, I used Manor House Creations flowers, Flourish with a Bling Chloe pearl flourish, Crate Paper DIYshop collection of papers and chipboard stickers.

The second card I made was for my grand niece Bella's 1st birthday! I used Stampin' Up! glitter sheet (LOVE this because I don't get glitter all over my hands or work area!!), My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing Lavender collection - fabulous layered sticker, chipboard elements, title and papers.

I was glad that I was able to make a few cards lately for my family, usually I don't have time and I use what I have made for the magazine or grab one of my design teams cards that I have made previously and change them to suit the occasion  I'm sure the recipients don't mind but I do like to create a personal card for an individual sometimes :-)

Be back soon!! Cheers and happy stamping :-)

Teaching at Paper Craft Festival this weekend!!

Gosh haven't I been a bad blogger!! I must do something about that as I'm always making cards and I really should start sharing them with you guys!! I just thought I would pop on here and let you know that I will be teaching a great technique at The Papercraft Festival this weekend 5th, 6th and 7th April in Penrith NSW at 2pm every day. In the class you will create a beautiful set of three tags (great for those scrapbooking layouts), a card and a gift frame, plus you will make your very own stamp, it's going to be so much fun, I can't wait!! Here is a sneak peek at the class, all products are provided!! Hope to see you there. I'll be back, sooner than you think xx

80th Birthday card

Hi there, Last night I made this card for a very special lady called Elsie who is turning 80 today! She is my best friend Kim's mum and she's a gorgeous lady that I love and admire very much, I wanted to make something very special for her and here it is. I used Prima flowers and resin bird, A Flourish with a Bling Jasmine puffy flourish, these are one of my favourite products as you have heard many times before! They add detail and sparkle to your cards. The scallop die-cut is a Nellie Snellen design which I've had for ages. Anyway I hope she likes it. Cheers and happy stamping!
